Small Beginnings

In the Summer of the year of our Lord in 2022 , three young families decided to form a school. One year later, Telos opened its doors to seven families, and it is now looking forward to even greater blessings in the coming years.

Telos strives to serve as a natural extension of the church. We strongly prioritize and favor admissions for the children of our community church, Redeemer Reformed Church of Oklahoma City.

Our teachers often work across multiple subjects and stages, allowing students to be known, guided, and formed by a consistent community of adults.

  • TUCKER CROSS

    HEADMASTER

    Serves as Headmaster and teaches Latin and Dialectic History, including Latin B and C. Tucker is a founding member of the school, He works to shape both the academic vision and daily life of the community.

  • NATHAN FOSTER

    ASSOCIATE HEADMASTER

    A founding member of the school, Nathan serves as Associate Headmaster and teaches Bible. He also serves as Board Secretary and supports the leadership and long-term direction of the school.

  • SHARIN BURKE

    TEACHER

    Sharin leads much of the Primary program while also teaching natural philosophy in Grammar and speech and debate in Dialectic. She helps cultivate the early habits of learning and contributes significantly to the planning and execution of school feasts.

  • MAGGIE DOBBS

    TEACHER

    Maggie leads much of the Grammar school instruction, teaching a wide range of subjects as well as poetry and rhetoric for upper grammar students. She also plays a key role in organizing and hosting the school’s feasts.

  • CHELSIE DUFF

    TEACHER

    A founding member of the school, Chelsie teaches across Primary, Grammar, and Dialectic levels, including writing, phonics, and natural philosophy. She plays a central role in the development of the school’s curriculum and contributes to the broader life and direction of the school.

  • MARDI FOSTER

    TEACHER

    A founding member of the school, Mardi teaches across the Grammar and Dialectic levels, including history, geography, study skills, Oklahoma history, and Latin A. She also supports students through study hall and contributes to many aspects of school life.

  • EMILY WAYLAND

    TEACHER

    Emily teaches literature and handicrafts across multiple levels of the school, working with students in both Grammar and Dialectic stages while contributing to the shared life of the classroom.

    ART & AESTHETICS

    Dr. Tucker Cross teaches art and aesthetics to students across the school, helping cultivate attentiveness to beauty, craftsmanship, and the created world.

    BOARD CHAIRMAN

    A founding member of the school, Michael serves as Chairman of the Board and helps guide the long-term vision and governance of the school.

    A founding member of the school, Tran has contributed to the development and support of the school’s mission and community.
